Dr. Raymond Iannaccone, President and CEO of EMA.  Dr. Iannaccone has been with Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey since 2003. He joined EMA on January 17, 2003 as the ED Director at Hudson Valley Hospital Center and served on the EMA/EMX Board from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Iannaccone served as Vice President during 2005 and 2006 and in 2006 was selected as the Executive Vice President. He is a professional society member of the New York Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Iannaccone received his undergraduate degree at St. John's University, Jamaica, New York and his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, VA. He received specialized training in diving, hyperbaric and submarine medicine at the Naval Undersea Medical Institute, Groton, CT. He completed the Emergency Medicine residency at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center and is a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.   iannacconer@emamd.com
John Bertolini, MD, FACEP, Regional Vice President joined Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey in 1996. Dr. Bertolini is a Regional Vice President for EMA. He is responsible for the New York contracts as well as Christ Hospital and Union Hospital. He was formerly a member of EMA’s Board of Directors and the recent past Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Union Hospital. He is a member of the both the New York and New Jersey Chapters of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Bertolini received his undergraduate degree at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut and his residency in Emergency Medicine at the Georgetown/George Washingtion University combined program in Washington D.C. He is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. bertolinij@emamd.com
William Dalsey, MD, MBA, FACEP-Vice President, Quality joined Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey in 2000. Dr. Dalsey is the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, New Jersey. He is a professional society member of American Medical Association, Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Council of Residency Directors, National Association of EMS Physicians, Consortium for Spinal Cord Medicine, and the National Committee for Cardiac Care. Dr. Dalsey received his undergraduate degree at Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pennsylvania, and his medical degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Ohio. He is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.  dalseyw@emamd.com
John Fontanetta, MD, FACEP-Vice President, Research & Development joined Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey in 1998. Dr. Fontanetta is Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, New Jersey. He is a professional society member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians and American Medical Association. He was awarded the Presidential Scholar for Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Honor Society. He graduated Summa Cum Laude at Fordham University in Bronx, New York and received his medical degree at Cornell University Medical College in New York, New York. Dr. Fontanetta completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx Municipal Hospital Center in Bronx, New York. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Diplomat of Subspecialty Pulmonary Medicine, and board eligible in Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Fontanetta is also a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Michael Gerardi, MD, FACEP-Regional Vice President. Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey; Director, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Goryeb Children's Hospital, Atlantic Health System; Faculty and Attending, Department of Emergency Medicine, Morristown Memorial Hospital. Dr. Gerardi previously served as a Board Member of EMA and Affiliates for several years and currently serves as Vice President for several EMA of NJ sites. Anthony Hartmann, MD, FACEP joined Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey in 1987 as Associate Medical Director for the Emergency Department at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Hartmann was then the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville, NJ, for 11 years. He currently serves EMA in the capacity of Regional Vice President overseeing operations at multiple hospital sites. Dr. Hartmann has been an active member of the American College of Emergency Physicians serving two terms on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chapter and served a term as President. Dr. Hartmann received his undergraduate degree at Brown University, Providence, RI and his medical degree from SUNY-Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, NY. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh PA. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. hartmanna@emamd.comm
Jennifer Waxler, DO, FACOEP, FACEP-Regional Vice President joined Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey in 2001.  Dr. Waxler served as a member of EMA’s Board of Directors and was the Chairman of the Emergency Department at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ.  She now serves EMA in the capacity of Regional Vice President.  She is a professional society member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, American College of Emergency Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians, and the National Association of EMS Physicians. She is currently serving as the Medical Consultant for the Office of EMS at the Department of Health and Human Services. She is Current Chairman of the Governor Appointed EMS Council currently charged with the redesign and implementation of the new EMS System in New Jersey.  Dr. Waxler received her undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, PA, and her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA.  She is also a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians. waxlerj@emamd.com
