Lynn Reyman, MD, FACEP-Chairman of the Board, joined Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey in 1987. Dr. Reyman is a member of EMA’s Board of Directors and an Associate Medical Director of the Emergency Department at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey. She previously served as the Chair of the Clinical Decision Support Committee for several years. She is a professional society member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and Women in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Reyman received her undergraduate degree at Tufts University, Medford, Massachusetts, and her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, New York, New York. She completed her first residency in Internal Medicine at Bellevue Hospital, New York, New Jersey and her second residency in Emergency Medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, New Jersey. Ivan Miller, MD, FACEP-Treasurer, joined Richmond University Medical Center in September, 2007 as Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Miller previously served as the interim Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center-Manhattan Division.
Dr Miller’s professional interests include emergency department performance improvement and patient safety and community outreach on a local, regional and international level. Dr Miller is a member of the Disaster Preparedness Committee of the Richmond County Medical Society. He lives in New York City with his wife, Micah Rafferty, and their six year-old daughter, Lila.
Dr Miller has been affiliated with Emergency Medical Associates (EMA) since 2002. He is a member of EMA’s Board of Directors, in addition to both the Audit Committee and the Practice Affairs Committee. Dr. Miller received his undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester, Rochester NY and his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. He completed a combined residency in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New Hyde Park, NY. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians as well as a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, the American College of Physicians and the Academy of Emergency Medicine India.

Glenn Birnbaum, MD, FACEP-Secretary, joined Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey in 1990. Dr. Birnbaum is a member of EMA’s Board of Directors and an Associate Medical Director and attending physician in the Emergency Department at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ. He is a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, American Academy of Emergency Medicine, American College of Physician Executives, Healthcare Communication and Marketing Association, and American Management Association. Dr. Birnbaum received his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ and served as Chief Resident. In addition to EMA, Dr. Birnbaum is the founder and principal of Tradewinds Medical Advisors, a consulting firm specializing in clinical marketing and product development. William Indruk, MD, FACEP-Board Member, joined Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey in 1999. Dr. Indruk is a member of EMA’s Board of Directors and is Chair of the Corporate Compliance Committee. He is a professional society member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is the Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, New Jersey. He is on the board of directors of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Leber is a professional society member of the American Medical Association, American College of Emergency Physicians, American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Physician Executives. Douglas Mailly, MD, FACEP-Board Member, joined Emergency Medical Association of New York in 1994. Dr. Mailly is Chair of the Practice Affairs Committee, and an attending physician in the Emergency Department at Hudson Valley Hospital Center, Cortlandt Manor, NY. He is a professional society member of the New York Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is also a member of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Mailly received his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University, New Jersey, where he was elected to the Rho Chi Honor Society as an undergraduate. Dr. Mailly received his medical degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center in Camden NJ and received additional training in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, Madison, WI. Dr. Mailly then completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Bellevue Hospital, NY. Oscar Marcilla, MD, FACEP-Board Member, joined Emergency Medical Association of New York in 2005. Dr. Marcilla is the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Nyack Hospital, Nyack NY. Ash Nashed, MD, FACEP-Board Member, joined Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey in 1993. Dr. Nashed is a member of EMA’s Board of Directors and a staff emergency physician and Former Associate Program Director for Emergency Medicine Residency at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey. Dr. Nashed is a professional society member of the New Jersey Chapter of American College of Emergency Physicians, Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, and Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Honor Medical Society. In 1992, his exhibit for Mathematical Modeling in Electrocardiography won the “ Best Educational/Informative Exhibit” at the ACEP Annual Scientific Assembly in Seattle, Washington. He was also awarded the Groff Foundation Scholarship. Dr. Nashed received his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey with honors. Sol Nevins, MD, FACEP-Board Member, joined Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey in 1980. Dr. Nevins is a member of the EMA Board of Directors, Chair of the Compensation Committee and Chair of the Benefits Committee. and member of the Partnership Affairs Committee. He is also a staff emergency physician at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey. Dr. Nevins is a professional society member of the New Jersey Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Society of Academic Emergency Physicians, and National Association of EMS Physicians. Dr. Nevins received his undergraduate degree with high honors from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and his medical degree from The University of Chicago (Prizker) Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at The University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics, Chicago, Illinois.
