Physician Assistant at New York Hospital Delivers Baby Boy in Hospital Parking Lot over Memorial Day Weekend
Nyack Hospital-Rockland County, NY-Hilsa Walters-Pelham, PA-C, a physician assistant who works in the Emergency Department at Nyack Hospital delivered a 6lb 8oz baby boy in the hospital’s visitor parking lot on Friday, May 25, 2007.
The baby boy, whose name was not available at press time, is the son of Makerita Misilaki (27) and her husband Kalepo Faafeu (26), who are residents of Stony Point, NY. Their son is the newest addition to the family which includes 15 month old daughter Rosie.
Hilsa Walters-Pelham, PA-C is an employee of Emergency Medical Associates (EMA), a well-known Emergency Physician group which has been providing state-of-the-art emergency medicine for 30 years, and staffs the emergency department at Nyack hospital and 17 other hospitals in New Jersey and New York.
