NBC News Features Jonathan Rothman, EMA Syndromic Surveillance Capabilities

Hospitals and physicians across the country are concerned about the shortage of flu vaccines and the potential impact on already overburdened emergency departments.  NBC News in San Jose, California learned of EMA partner Business Objects, and their technology that will enable EMA to track a flu outbreak and then communicate this to their emergency physicians, who can then be more prepared in advanced to deal with a potential crisis.
