Emergency Medical Associates (EMA)-Livingston, NJ - For Clara Maass Medical Center emergency department physician Joseph Dib, MD, FACEP helping people isn’t limited to treating patients in the emergency department.

The non-profit 501(c) (3) international organization “Giving for Living” was started by Dr. Dibs brother, Roland Dib, in 2003 with the mission to “Reduce poverty and misery of children throughout the world by collecting monetary donations, equipment and supplies from businesses and individuals and distributing them to needy individuals throughout the world.”

According to Dr. Dib, “Giving for Living has donated more than 50,000 items of clothing, toys, computers and household goods throughout Africa and Central America. At the current time, missions are being focused on the remote villages of Nicaragua, where many villages are so remote that they do not have any roads to connect them to the outside world.”

Giving for Living invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to join them in their efforts to collect clothing, toys, computers, books and household items.

Information on how to participate and donate to Giving for Living can be found by going to their website at www.givingforliving.org, or by contact Roland Dib, Executive Director, at Roland@givingforliving.org.
