EMA Physician, Dr. Jennifer Waxler, Elected President of NJ-ACEP

Emergency Medical Associates of Livingston, NJ is proud to announce that Dr. Jennifer Waxler, Emergency Department Director at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, has been elected President of NJ-ACEP.  Dr. Waxler assumed the position during the NJ ACEP Annual membership meeting, held May 20th at the Sheraton Hotel in Edison. 

Dr. Waxler did her Residency in Emergency Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA and has been providing outstanding care to patients in southern New Jersey since July, 1995, when she served as Emergency Department Chairman for Capital Health System Mercer and Fuld Campuses in Trenton.  As ED Director at Monmouth, Dr. Waxler is repsonsible for providing care for over 42,000 annual ED visits.

Highly regarded by her peers, Dr. Waxler is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including 2001 New Jersey State EMS Medical Director of the Year,2002 Board of Directors, NJ ACEP, and 1999 Women's Fund of New Jersey - Healthcare Professional of the Year.  In addition to her  Board Certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Waxler is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Life Support and Advanced Pediatric Life Support.
