Dr. Catherine Hanlon Honored at NJ ACEP Scientific Assembly

Dr. Catherine Hanlon, Emergency Physician, Monmouth Medical Center, Mercer Medical Center and Helene Fuld Medical Center, was presented with the Educator of the Year Award at the recent 2004 NJ ACEP Scientific Assembly held May 11th at the Ramada Inn National Conference Center.

The well-deserved award, presented to a member of NJ ACEP who has made a significant contribution to academic emergency medicine, was given to Dr. Hanlon for her ongoing contributions to the field, and for consistently making herself available to teach all those who come to her for her guidance and expertise in the many areas of emergency medicine.

Dr. Hanlon, whose sister and mother were at the ceremony, recognized she comes from a long line of teachers as she humbly accepted the award from Jennifer Waxler, DO, FACP, FACEP, and past-president of NJ ACEP.
