Date: August 19, 2003John Brennan, MD, FAAP, FACEP and Vice President of Emergency Medicine, St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ and National ACEP Board Member, and Jennifer Waxler, DO, FACEP, Chairman, Department of Emergency Medicine, Monmouth Medical Center, Monmouth, NJ and President, NJ ACEP will be featured keynote speakers at the upcoming Advanced Emergency Medicine Conference. The conference will be held September 14-17, 2003 at the Borgata Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, NJ.
Dr. Brennan will be addressing issues, challenges and opportunities facing ACEP on a national level, while Dr. Waxler will be focusing her remarks on those issues affecting NJ ACEP as well as discussing her platform for the regional chapter. Drs. Brennan and Waxler also belong to Emergency Medical Associates (EMA), a democratically structured, physician-owned and managed Emergency Physician group providing services to hospitals and health systems since 1977.
The Advanced Emergency Medicine Conference, sponsored by EMA, is designed for emergency physicians, pediatricians, family physicians, internists, nurses, residents, physician assistants and paramedics who practice and operate in an acute care environment. Nationally recognized faculty will be on hand to present the latest in ED Ultrasound, APLS, Challenge Courses in ACLS, ATLS and PALS, New Treatment Advancements in Diabetes and much more.
