Dr. Frank LaMorte Elected President of Saint Barnabas Metro-West I.P.A.

Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ - Francis LaMorte, MD, FACEP, practicing emergency physician at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and Chairman of the Board of Emergency Medical Associates (EMA), Livingston, NJ, was recently elected to serve a two-year term as President of the Saint Barnabas Metro-West I.P.A.  Dr. LaMorte previously served as Vice President of the I.P.A. for the past four years.

The Saint Barnabas Metro-West I.P.A. is a 900-member independent physician association that has been serving the needs of Saint Barnabas physicians for over 20 years.  Cherry Holmes, Executive Director of the I.P.A., told our correspondent that the I.P.A. not only provides its physician members practice management solutions, but it also serves to support the Saint Barnabas Physician Partnership, which provides medical coverage for all Saint Barnabas System employees and now offers medical health insurance coverage to its member physicians and their families and to their employees.
