Emergency Medical Associates (EMA), Livingston, NJ - David M. Schreck, MD, MS, FACP, FACEP, Medical Director of Emergency Services for the Summit Medical Group, Summit, NJ, Medical Director of Emergency Medical Services for Capital Health System, Trenton, NJ, Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ and Vice President, Emergency Medical Associates was one of a select group of lecturers who presented as part of the American College of Emergency Physician’s Best-of-the-Best abstract series, which was held at this year’s American College of Emergency Physician Annual Scientific Assembly. Before a capacity crowd, Dr. Schreck presented on the topic of mathematical modeling of the electroencephalogram using five leads versus the standard 16 leads currently used. This state-of-the-art technology has been invented and patented by Dr. Schreck, who has been working on this project over the past 20 years.
